FAQ

What if the mouse button doesn't respond?

If the mouse visual doesn't highlight after clicking, it could be a hardware issue or connection problem. Check the mouse connection, try a different USB port, or test with other applications to confirm.

Why does right-clicking show a browser menu?

This tool disables the default right-click context menu. If a menu still appears, it may be a browser setting issue. Right-clicking within the test area should only record events without showing a menu.

What is the middle button (scroll click)?

The middle button is pressing down the mouse scroll wheel, commonly used to open links in new tabs or auto-scroll pages. In this tool, middle button clicks are highlighted in orange.

How to tell if the mouse needs replacement?

You may need to replace your mouse if: buttons don't respond or respond with delay, scroll wheel is unresponsive, cursor movement is jerky, or double-clicks are frequently not recognized. Try cleaning the mouse sensor and button areas first.
